2010 Philippine Presidential Election Voters Registration at the
Philippine Center
An overseas absentee voter’s registration will be held at the
Philippine Center. Gerry Ramos, Executive Director of the Philippine
Center has coordinated with Consul General Blesila Cabrera, of the
Philippine Consulate in Chicago to schedule an outreach, to enable
the filipino immigrants and americans with dual citizenships who are
based here in Wisconsin to vote in the forthcoming 2010 Philippine
Presidential/Senatorial elections.
Aside from the voters’ registration, the consulate on wheels will
include passport processing, birth registration, and notarization of
documents. The consular services will be held at the Philippine
Center, 535 N 27th St., Milwaukee, WI on Saturday, July 11, 2009.
from 9 AM to 12 Noon and 1 to 4 PM.
Those interested to register as voters need to bring their passports
and/or birth certificates. Applications for passport and dual
citizenship could be mailed in advance to the Consulate for
pre-processing , and the applicants will just have to appear at the
Philippine Center to affix their signatures and thumbmarks and have
their picture taken at an assigned Passport Photo Center.
