An overseas absentee voter’s registration will be held at the Philippine Center. Gerry Ramos, Executive Director of the Philippine Center has coordinated with Consul General Blesila Cabrera, of the Philippine Consulate in Chicago to schedule an outreach, to enable the filipino immigrants and americans with dual citizenships who are based here in Wisconsin to vote in the forthcoming 2010 Philippine Presidential/Senatorial elections.

Aside from the voters’ registration, the consulate on wheels will include passport processing, birth registration, and notarization of documents. The consular services will be held at the Philippine Center, 535 N 27th St., Milwaukee, WI on Saturday, July 11, 2009. from 9 AM to 12 Noon and 1 to 4 PM.

Those interested to register as voters need to bring their passports and/or birth certificates. Applications for passport and dual citizenship could be mailed in advance to the Consulate for pre-processing , and the applicants will just have to appear at the Philippine Center to affix their signatures and thumbmarks and have their picture taken at an assigned Passport Photo Center.
