PCCF Golf Tournament 2007

Dr. Violeta Singson receives a special award in recognition of her administrative efforts
and monetary contributions that helped to make the Golf Fundraiser a success.  

The Philippine Cultural and Civic Center Foundation (PCCCF) held its 1st Annual Golf Tournament on Sunday, September 30, 2007, at the Ironwood Golf Course in Sussex, Wisconsin.  The Tournament was played in the Callaway Format, and several players walked away with awards for various hole events and achievements.  Afterwards, the golfers were treated to dinner (catered by Fortune Chinese Restaurant) courtesy of Drs. Johnny and Violeta Singson.  Following dinner, guests were treated to a raffle and Mr. Videl Rubio walked away with the grand prize of a $100 gift certificate for dinner at any Bartolotta restaurant, which was also donated by the Singsons.

The event raised more than $21,000 in revenues from 30 hole sponsors, 45 regular players, and numerous donors.  The largest donation received was for $8,000, which was received from the Suson Charitable Lead Trust.  Proceeds from the Tournament will go towards the PCCCF's Building Fund. This event, no doubt, brings us closer to the creation of our very own Philippine Center.
